Primulas. Inspired by a photograph of a bed of primulas at RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Woven in 100% Chinese Spun silk which I had dyed in colours to match those in the photo. I used acid dyes for all the colours except the yellows, which were achieved with dyes from onion skins and dead Buddliea flowers.

The scarf is approximately 70” long by 11” wide, (28 x 178 cms) plus the tasselled fringe at either end.
