The 4th and last of the scarves I wove on my 3 colour echo threading warp that was adapted from a 4 colour echo threading in Marian Stubenitsky’s book ‘Weaving with Echo & Iris’. This one is about reflections at the water’s edge and the patterns that are caused by the ripples breaking up the image. Very nearly the same shaft lifting sequence as the 3rd scarf of this series, but with shades of green and turquoise in the weft. 100% silk yarns, hand dyed colours in both warp and weft. The finished scarf measures 11” by 70”, plus the tasselled fringe at either end.
