The last scarf off the warp with the 2 different patterns interleaved in the threading. The warp is a mix of commercially dyed silk yarns. The weft is my usual 30/2s silk, which I hand dyed with natural and acid dyes. The inspiration was one of those calm and quiet sunsets, as beautiful in their own way as the wild and highly coloured ones. The scarf is roughly 11” wide by 70” long.

Care advice: hand wash in tepid water with a little detergent, (I use shampoo), and steam press to bring out the full shine of the silk.
