The second scarf woven on a 4 colour echo weave warp. The threading plan is from Marian Stubenitski’s brilliant book ‘Weaving With Echo And Iris’’ but I used a different shaft lifting sequence for this design. I love bluebells woods and have been wanting to try weaving a scarf inspired by them for some time. I couldn’t make up my mind which colour variation I liked best, the true blue or the slightly purpley blue, so I wove one of each. Woven in 100% silk yarn which I dyed in my workshop. The scarf measures approximately 70” long by 11” wide.
