This scarf design was inspired by the amazing patterns and beautiful colours in an Abilone shell. It had an area where the colours were strong , while in another part the colours were more muted and pastel., like this.

The scarf is hand woven in 100% Chinese Spun silk, hand dyed to the colours required. It measures approximately 70” by 11”, plus 5” tassles at either end.

I would recommend hand washing in tepid water with a little detergent, and steam ironing.
